My Night-time Skincare Routine / Dry & Sensitive Skin
August 25, 2015
It has taken me a while to come up with a skincare routine that i can religiously stick to as i like to change a few products here and there however over the past couple weeks i have managed to stick to it! and my skin is all the better for it so i thought i'd share with you the products i use on a daily basis. First of all i like to remove my makeup using the Emma Hardie Amazing Face Cleansing Balm this is pricey but so worth it i am obsessed! not only does it smell beautiful it instantly gets ride of any makeup, i also use this on my eyes and it doesn't irritate them at all, it also comes with a very soft muslin cloth and you can also use this if you have nothing on your face or would just like a nice cleanse, i love it!
Then on days when i want baby soft skin i use the Charlotte Tilbury Goddess Skin Clay Mask, this is incredible and again pricey! i mentioned this product in my June favourites video on my channel, it's now August and i still have lots of product left i use it all the time and couldn't say anything bad about it. This is possibly the best mask i have ever tried not only does it tighten pores it smooths, lifts and brightens. It smells nice too, i have found this most beneficial on days when my skin looks dull and it's an instant result.
Then i move on to toner and i'm currently loving the Simple Kind To Skin Soothing Facial Toner i have used this for years and it's really good very soft on the skin feels like water, i apply this with a cotton pad allow the toner to sink into my skin and then i remove the excess with a tissue as with toner your skin will only soak up the amount it would like to so make sure you remove the excess, i have sensitive skin and this doesn't irritate it at all Simple have amazing skin care products and brilliant if you have sensitive skin like me!
After all of then i then like to use my LA ROCHE-POSEY EFFACLAR DUO this is perfect for any redness or imperfections, i noticed results within a couple days using this its great at creating and even skin tone if you're pale like me and have redness and even for clearing spots i cannot recommend this enough! for my dry skin i then use a very small amount of Hydraluron. This is a clear gel that increases skin hydration from below the surface and again i have noticed a massive difference with my dry patches i now barely get any i apply this just before going to bed and let it soak in over night.
Finally moisturiser i am loving the REN Vita Mineral Daily Supplement Moisturising Cream this is perfect for all skin types however i find it brilliant for dry skin as it's very thick and rich and the perfect amount is dispensed for you each time.
I hope you enjoyed reading my first blog post! im excited to finally have this blog up and running. Feel free to let me know if you have tried any of the products i've mentioned :) xx
