My Current Skincare Favourites
November 13, 2015

With winter arriving here in the UK skincare for me becomes a huge deal. Personally a skincare routine is a very important part of my day/evening and also crucial for the application of makeup! I have dry skin mostly with an oily T-Zone in spring/summer.
These are currently the products i use on a daily basis to ensure my skin is looking as good as it can!! (with the exeption of spots...)
Starting off with Cleansers ....
My favourite by far is the Emma Hardie Amazing Face Moringa Cleansing Balm, this is the nicest cleanser i have ever tried and i love the fragrance of it when i first used it i expected it to be very oily on the skin and for it to leave a residue after washing it off with the Muslin cloth that comes with it however its not as oily as you would expect, i use this to take my makeup off (and eye makeup) i also use it to cleanse my face without makeup. This is a must have for my routine and its priced at £38.
Another favourite of mine is the Ren Clarifying Clay Cleanser, i use this as a cleanser/mask on days when i have blemishes and spots i find this really helps to calm my skin and helps to dry out spots its also a quick cleanser i put it on my face and leave it for a few minutes and then wash it off and i find the next day my belmishes have started to clear. I tend to only use this in the evening and i also find the packaging is very well designed it has a vacumed bag inside that helps to squeeze the product out so you dont have product stuck at the bottom of the tube! GENUIS! This retails for £19.
Charlotte Tilbury Skin Clay Mask, where do i start. BEST MASK EVER!!! "For the rebirth of yout skin its a miracle, skins texture appears visable healed, hydated and rejuvinated. Skin feels smoother, firmer and plumper" and i couldn't agree more. If you are after smooth, soft, healthy looking skin look no further. The texture of this mask is also very different to other face masks currently on the market, this is a clay mask however it doesnt have the clay texture it feels very light ont he skin and doesn't make your face stiff! You get 75ml ankd being Charlotte Tilbury its slightly pricer at £45.
Next is the Eau Thermale Avene Soothing Moisture Mask, as i mentioned earlier i have dry skin and especially around this time of the year with the colder weather approaching i need to make sure i dont get any unnessisary dry patches and this has really helped with that so far i use it once or twice a week depending on how my skin feels i mainly use it the evening and i feel like my skin drinks it all up and my face feels nice and fresh after using it so its definatley a must have if you suffer with dry skin/dry patches like me! this is priced at £11.50
Forever Aloe Scrub this was given to me by a friend who's started selling Forever Living products and she simply said "just try it and see how you get on with it" i was a bit jubious at first as Forever isn't a brand im familiar with and i do have sensitie skin so i like to know exactly what im using however after trying it out for a few weeks i've really enjoyed using it. You only need a small amount of this at a time, i don't think it has made any difference with the apperance of my skin but my skin definatley feels clean after usuing it and it is a really nice scrub, i have used this mostly on my chin and around my nose where i have larger pores and it definatley clears them and gets rid of dirt! this is priced at £13.44
Simple Kind To Skin Facial Wash this is a holy grail product for me! Simple skincare is the best if you on are a tight budget, this is a really nice fresh facial wash i like to use it in the morning to wake me up its one of those facial washes that everyone knows and loves and its up there with the best! retails for £3.39 in boots
Another nice face wash is the Neutrogena Visibly Clear Pore & Shine Daily Wash, I use this on days when i want a deep cleanse. Perfect for problematic skin, if you often get spots and also good if you have large/visable pores, It also goes nice and foamy on the face which helps to feel squeeky clean! this is £4.50
Teoxane Perfect Skin Refiner ill be completely honest i have no idea what this product is supposed to be doing for my skin! i got it in a monthly subscription beauty box i only use it at night and it helps my skin feel very hydrated its the last thing i put on before bed and its really nice and smooth it has a nice fragrance to it also. I only have a small sample as it was out of a beauty box but i'm really enjoying using it, a full size skin refiner costs £75 and knowing that i doubt i will ever buy a fullsize!
Forever Aloe Moisturizing Lotion again my friend gave me one of these to try, perfect timing as i had run out of my ren moisturizer its a really nice consistancy not too thick but also not thin it soaks into the skin nicely and quite quick again you don't need alot of this product so a tube of 118ml will last a good time this retails for £12.73 dont ask me why its such a random ammount i have no idea either!!
I hope you enjoyed reading this blog post i will link below my friends Forever Living page if you want to check that out, I'd be interested to know if anyone else has tried any of the products i have or if you could reccomend any! make sure you're subscribed to my youtube channel as i'm going to be posting more often on there and stay tuned for another post!!
